Absences
If the student repetitively misses classes during either diploma programme year without a valid reason and fails to produce due documentation signed by a health professional on the cause of the absence, the student is issued a written warning. Should the absences still continue, the IB-coordinator does not register the student for the final examination session in the subject(s) whose classes the student missed the most.
If the student’s absences accumulate on the 2nd dp-year with no medical documentation produced, and the student was already registered for the final examination session, the IB-coordinator deletes the registration in the subject(s) whose classes were missed the most. All these regulations are brought to the students’ attention well in advance.
